Rules

House Rules

House Rules

Our vacation rentals are non-smoking apartments or houses. Therefore, we kindly ask you not to smoke inside the apartment/house. Thank you very much.

Check-in and Check-out

The vacation rental is available for check-in from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. Please inform us of your estimated arrival time a few days in advance. The key handover will be arranged individually. If needed, you can use our key safe. On the day of departure, please vacate the apartment and leave it broom-clean by 10:00 AM (except for "Late Check-out" cases). Please rearrange any moved furniture to their original positions. All used dishes should be cleaned and put back in the cabinets. The beds do not need to be stripped. Please simply place all used towels in a pile on the floor before departure.

Outdoor Facilities

The outdoor facilities associated with the vacation rental include the front area (also the parking space) and the lawn with paved areas for the garden shed, grill, and seating. Please leave the outdoor area as you found it and dispose of trash and debris on your own.

Bathroom

To prevent lime deposits, we kindly ask you to wipe the shower tiles after each use. If possible, leave the window and door open for ventilation. Please do not dispose of hygiene products, waste, food remnants, harmful liquids, fats, or similar items in the shower or toilet, as it can lead to unpleasant blockages. Please use the provided disposal options.

Damage

No one intentionally damages things, but accidents happen. If any damage occurs, please notify us immediately so that we can address it before your departure and cleaning. The guest or their insurance is liable for damages up to the replacement cost.

Bed Linen

We provide bed linen for the duration of your stay. You don't need to remove the covers before your departure.

Payment

The complete rental amount must be paid in cash or by bank transfer before/check-in. If a deposit has been made, it will be deducted, and the remaining balance is to be paid. Unfortunately, we cannot accept credit cards, debit cards, or checks.

Grilling

If an outdoor grill is provided, please exercise extreme caution when handling open fire and pay particular attention to your children's safety. After grilling, remove the cooled ashes from the grill and dispose of them in the designated container. Always clean the grill grate.

Liability

The landlord is not liable for the guest's valuables.

Towels

We provide towels for the duration of your stay. You will find additional towels in the bedroom cupboard. In the interest of environmental sustainability, we kindly ask you to use towels responsibly and consider the number of towels used. Please simply place the used towels on the floor before departure.

First Aid Kit

A small first aid kit is available for emergencies. The location is indicated in the welcome letter upon your arrival (important contact numbers are also provided).

House Rules

Under certain circumstances (very rare), it may be necessary for the landlord to enter the vacation rental without the guest's knowledge.

Pets

Pets are not allowed in our accommodations, except by prior arrangement.

Additional Costs

Water, electricity, heating, and waste disposal are included in the rental price unless otherwise agreed. These costs are calculated for normal consumption. If they exceed average levels, the landlord reserves the right to charge an additional amount.

Cleaning

If an accident occurs (extreme dirt, spilled liquids on the floor or surfaces, etc.), please clean it immediately. Brooms, dustpans, mops, buckets, and cleaning products are available. We kindly ask you to leave the vacation rental broom-clean and clean all used dishes before departure, placing them back in the cabinets.

Quiet Hours

The vacation rental is often located in a residential area. In the spirit of good neighborliness, we kindly ask you to observe public quiet hours, including midday rest, nighttime rest, and Sundays. Please also maintain a quiet environment in the vacation rental between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, out of consideration for others.

Keys

Never hand over the keys to anyone else. Report any loss of keys immediately, and the guest is responsible for the replacement cost.

Duty of Care

We kindly ask our guests to treat the rental property with care and ensure that fellow travelers and family members adhere to the rental conditions. Please pay particular attention to your children's behavior. The main entrance door should always be closed and locked with a key when leaving the house. Likewise, please close all windows when leaving the apartment to prevent potential damage from severe weather conditions or burglary. Conserve water and electricity resources.

Late Check-out

For a late check-out between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, half of the daily rate will be charged. For check-out after 6:00 PM, the cost of an additional night will be applied.

Cancellations

We hope you won't have to cancel your vacation unexpectedly. However, if it happens, the following cancellation fees apply:

Cancellation of the booking:

  • Up to 2 months: free of charge
  • Up to 1 month: 50% of the total amount
  • Up to 14 days: 80% of the total amount

Cancellations must be made by 12:00 PM CET (Central European Time) of the respective day. In the absence of prior oral or written cancellation, the full amount will be invoiced.

Telephone

There is no telephone available in the apartment.

Toilet

We provide initial toilet paper for your convenience. Afterward, we kindly ask you to provide your own supply. In case of emergency, we can provide you with toilet paper for an additional charge. Please also follow the specific instructions posted above the toilet and feel free to use the "flushing in between." Any costs resulting from blockages will be charged to the guest.

Early Departure

No refunds will be provided for early departures.

Intermediate Cleaning

If you require intermediate cleaning during your stay, we can arrange it for you. The costs will be calculated based on the cleaning package or an hourly rate.

Legal Requirements - Registration Act

We would like to inform you that we are legally obligated to collect certain information from our guests and forward it to the local authorities. We will gladly handle this legal requirement for you, and you will find a link for data collection in your digital guest folder and via email.

Bookings through Third-Party Services

Please note that contractual agreements made through third-party providers such as booking.com and Airbnb are not affected by these regulations or replace them but may complement them.
